The tasting
Color Bright, intense ruby color.
Nose The aromas of delicate pinot present themselves with precision, purity and perfectly ordered maturity through flavors of black cherry, blackcurrant, floral touches such as peony and spices.
Palate Tightly wound due to its youth, sapid and fresh with mature aromas of fruit, this wine has a texture between silk and velvet, with smooth, delicate tannins revealing juicy, crisp juice. The finish is long and delicate, ending with hints of vanilla. This is a wine of great harmony. For a first, it's a great success!
The sommelier's advice

Cellar ageing From now until 2030, and even longer for enthusiasts.
The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine Chapoutier & Devaux join forces again in Champagne! This plot-based wine from Coteaux Champenois, produced in a limited series, is a rarity reserved exclusively - and as a preview - for our VIPs.

Born of a long path of experimentation and a human encounter, it marks the culmination of a joint project to sublimate Pinot Noir on one of Champagne's most confidential and fabulous terroirs, the hillside village of Les Riceys in the Aube region...

Chapoutier and Champagne Devaux, who have already embarked on a joint project with the cuvée Sténopé, are continuing their friendly collaboration, combining the best of their Champagne and Rhône expertise.
Wine The 2019 Red Coteaux Champenois En Chanzeux expresses all the prettiness of pinot noir in crisp, floral aromas of fruit, displaying notes of black cherry, blackcurrant, peony, and spice on the nose. The palate is velvety and extremely refined, with smooth, delicate tannins. The fruit is juicy and crisp, with plenty of freshness and a persistent, slightly vanilla finish. A very fine bottle that has nothing to envy the best Burgundy crus!
Vinification Hand-harvested, picked in small crates at a ripeness close to 13.5%/vol. Maceration and fermentation in wooden vats, aged in 18-month barrels.

Limited edition of 1140 bottles.
