The estate and the wine |

The Domaine de la Mordorée is one of our favorite estates from Southern Rhône. One of the best in biodynamic agriculture, it has been awarded the highest rating of 5 stars by Robert Parker. The American critic has always placed it at the top of his hierarchy, saluting their work and mastery of winemaking and praising their wines above all else. |

Another magnificent success on this vintage! The 2019 Red Lirac La Reine des Bois is furiously similar to its Châteauneuf-du-Pape neighbor, with notes of cocoa, macerated black cherry, spice and pepper. Its intense and very pleasant notes melt into a palate of beautiful concentration, just as expressive, fresh, complex and powerful. This is a great red wine from the Southern Rhône Valley, with present but smooth tannins, which will last for 10 years. A must-have, rated 94/100 by our Selection Committee. |
