The estate and the wine |

The Domaine de la Mordorée is one of our favorite estates from Southern Rhône. One of the best in biodynamic agriculture, it has been awarded the highest rating of 5 stars by Robert Parker. The American critic has always placed it at the top of his hierarchy, saluting their work and mastery of winemaking and praising their wines above all else. |

Refined and elegant, the 2021 Red Côtes-du-Rhône has luscious floral notes, of peony and rose in particular. The palate continues this delicate, powdery, and suave register in a very fresh infused note. This is a beautiful wine with a wonderful balance and a prodigious finesse of tannins! A bottle to be served slightly chilled now or over 5 years, with fine cured meats or a pork chop with juice and herbs. |
