The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine Roberto de la Mota is a brilliant oenologist and was voted best winemaker in Argentina. He is the creator of Cheval des Andes, the iconic wine of the LVMH group. Since 2003, he has been working on his own estate, Mendel Wines, in the heart of Mendoza.

It is in a preserved setting, with very old and organic vines, that he sculpts sumptuous wines, far from any show-off style. Favoring the finesse and freshness that these dream terroirs can provide, in organic farming, he offers a renewed version of Argentine malbec, wines of great class that our expert sommeliers have noticed long ago...
Wine Rated 94/100 by the Committee, the 2018 Red Mendoza Malbec Lunta is a superb concentrate of fresh, juicy flavors of fruit. The very ripe, concentrated, and spicy nose, with slightly smoky accents, hints at the presence of oak. The paradox, or is it just a real achievement, is to maintain such freshness, since at no time does the aromatics tip over to hot or candied fruit. The palate is beautiful, full of ripe, intense, and bright flavors of fruit with a velvety texture, rich in concentration and finesse. A magnificent bottle to be enjoyed within 2 or 3 years with a nice stewed meat, a piece of beef, or a duck breast with spices, for example, and which will keep for another ten years without fear.
Vinification Hand harvested, vinification in barrels.
