The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine For over 6 years, we have introduced you to this gem of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, with vineyards on the most beautiful terroirs, including the fabulous plateau of La Crau. Château de Montfaucon offers one of this legendary vineyard's most interesting and accomplished expressions.

In the Lirac appellation it also manages, with the same care, to offer the best of the Mediterranean by crafting fresh and elegant reds and whites, without an excess of power.
Wine The 2021 white Lirac Comtesse Madeleine is the first certified organic vintage of the estate. This exemplary cuvée combines Marsanne, Clairette, Grenache Blanc, and Picpoul. Fermented and aged in barrels for eight months, this fresh and elegant white wine reveals a delicate nose of white flowers intertwined with sweet notes of honey, almond, verbena, and pear. The palate delivers constant freshness, remarkable finesse, tension, and smoothness. Rated 93/100 by the Committee.
Vinification Harvested by hand. Direct pressing followed by cold settling for 18 to 24 hours. Fermentation and aging in barrels of 1 to 6 wines for 8 months before bottling at the estate. Aged in bottle for 6 months before marketing.

Certified organic wine.
