Perle de Châteauneuf-du-Pape, disposant de parcelles sur les plus beaux terroirs dont le fabuleux plateau de la Crau, le Château de Montfaucon offre l’une des expressions les plus abouties du grenache sur ce vignoble mythique.
C’est aussi l’une des propriétés les plus intéressantes de l’appellation à l’heure actuelle. D’autant qu’elle excelle aussi sur des terroirs voisins en Côtes-du-Rhône, et les vins qui s’y rapportent - aussi bien blancs que rouges - sont réalisés avec le même soin, dans un style frais et élégant, sans surenchère de puissance. |

The 2021 red Côtes du Rhône Baron de Montfaucon fully expresses the flavors of the south without overdoing it, reciting ripe fruit without excess, a slippery, fresh and energetic structure with a delicate spicy accent. What a beautiful achievement, full of spirit and pulpy fruit, served by supple tannins. Serve slightly chilled with pissaladière or cured meats. |
