The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine Maison Ferraton is one of the most prized signatures of the Northern Rhone Valley, a giant of the winemaking world who produces wines with some of the best price-quality ratios. It has established itself as one of the region’s best wine Houses, producing wines of admirable amplitude which are particularly expressive in their youth, and capable of aging beautifully.

All of their wines are complete successes, combining taste and complexity with the perfect representation of their terroirs. The latest vintages raise the bar even higher and are wines of wonderful texture and flavor.
Wine Olivier Poussier's favorite, rated 93/100 Parker, the 2017 Red Ermitage Les Dionnières is simply perfect. It is a great Hermitage, beautifully built around rich notes of juicy cherry, mocha, spice and violet. Its creamy tannins, its perfectly controlled power, tamed by a beautiful freshness, propel a dense, concentrated palate, of very long persistence. A wine certified AB and in conversion to biodynamics.
Vinification Grapes are totally destemmed, vinification in concrete vats for about 4 weeks (depending on the vintage), extraction by pumping over and punching down. Aged in oak barrels for 14 to 18 months depending on the vintage (20 to 30% in new barrels). Organic wine, certified.
