The Whistle Pig Straight Rye Whiskey Aged 12 Years was aged for over ten years in new American oak barrels and then finished in three different casks: Madeira, Sauternes, and Porto. This unique finishing imparts very special and highly complex flavors to the whiskey, reminiscent of dried fruits, honey, and apple pie. This is followed by notes of spicy rye, caramel, and mint with a finish that lingers on oak, dark chocolate, and caramel undertones. |
