The sommelier's advice
Food Pure, on its own, on ice or in cocktails like Zacapa 23 Old Fashioned: 6 cl of Zacapa 23 Rum, 1 cl of date or plum syrup, 1 dash of "chocolate" bitter, 1 dash of "orange" bitter, orange zest as garnish, mix everything in a mixing glass until very well diluted, pour this mixture over a large ice cube in a Rock glass.
The distillery
The distillery One of Guatemala's most famous rums! Using only concentrated cane juice, grown 350 meters above sea level, Zacapa makes unique rums, watched over for 30 years by cellar master Lorena Vasquez, who preserves the secret of their production.

This emblematic House is a worldwide success! This edition is a unique opportunity to familiarize yourself with its expertise: a solera-aged rum from older selections aged in bourbon and sherry casks.
Spirits The Zacapa 23 Sistema Solera Gran Reserva Rum combines notes of dried fruit, honey, spices, nutmeg and a touch of cherry. On aeration, nuances of cocoa and licorice accompany a hint of wood. The warm framework seduces with intense flavors reminiscent of Bourbon vanilla and bitter cocoa. The finish is fascinatingly persistent, with intertwining hints of honey, caramel, spices and dried fruit.
Elaboration Distilled from virgin sugarcane honey, aged in the "house of clouds" 2,300 meters above sea level, using the "sistema solera" method: rums of different ages and profiles are blended and aged in a succession of at least 3 different casks. The first casks were used to preserve robust American whiskies, the second delicate sherry and the last elegant Pedro Ximenez wines. The result is a unique blend of rums from 6 to 23 years of age.
