For over 250 years, Hennessy has cultivated and protected an invaluable heritage: the world's largest stock of eaux-de-vie, some of which have been resting in the Maison's historic cellars for over two centuries. Cognac Hennessy Very Special has been imposing its inimitable style for over 150 years. Reflecting Hennessy's expertise, it is the fruit of a long process of selecting eaux-de-vie that are blended and aged in barrels with the same consistency. Hennessy VS combines a frank, fruity character with lively woody notes, immediately noticeable on the nose, associated with toastiness, brown sugar and some more subtle accents of vine fruit. The slender, intense palate extends this register of creamy flavors, adding a vanilla dimension to the whole. A few fresh, spontaneous floral notes round out the warm vitality. |
