The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine A guiding figure of Beaujolais, Marcel Lapierre influenced an entire generation of winemakers and wine lovers, sparking a new movement of joyful, fruit-driven wines and laying the foundations of today’s enthusiasm for so-called natural wines.

Starting in 1981, he chose to vinify without sulfur or added yeasts, cultivating his vines biodynamically without chemical fertilizers or herbicides — a heresy at the time.

Today, his son Mathieu and daughter Camille carry on the mission, caring meticulously for the vines and producing wines that are ripe, expressive, and precise. The range is both indulgent and refreshing, earning 1 star in the prestigious French wine guide RVF.
Wine The 2024 Red Morgon, the estate’s flagship wine, perfectly expresses the fruit-forward style that has won so many admirers, while reflecting the character of the cru. Fresh notes of black fruits, cherry, and licorice are brightened by a hint of violet, while supple tannins frame a savory structure that flows into a juicy, mouthwatering finish. A refined, irresistible style — now available in magnum.
Vinification Hand harvested, carefully sorted, several passes. Traditional Beaujolais semi-carbolic maceration without SO2 or yeast, lasting 15 to 36 days. Aged in 228-liter barrels for approximately 9 months.
Certified organic wine.
