The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine Moillard-Grivot, a historic Burgundy wine house based in Nuits-Saint-Georges, produces a wide range of sincere wines, perfectly embodying each of the terroirs from which they come. Present in the most beautiful appellations of the Côte d'Or, it produces delicate wines, sure values of their respective appellations.
Wine The 2020 Red Chambolle-Musigny is an elite Pinot wine, perfectly ripe and accomplished. The red and black fruits, the toasted and grilled touch compose a luxurious nose, of beautiful freshness, totally in the typicity of the Côte de Nuits region. The palate is astonishing by its concentration, its power, and its generosity. It is indeed an ample and wide wine, carried by a generous, fresh and intense palate. It is close to a Gevrey in its build, and it will take another 3 to 5 years to fully enjoy its patina. It is in any case a serious candidate among the great Burgundian Pinot Noirs. Rated 93/100 by our Selection Committee.
Vinification Hand harvested, vinification in thermo-regulated vats, 10 days pre-fermentation cold maceration, long vatting time, punching of the cap and pumping of the cap, aged for 12 months in oak barrels.
