Based in Châteauneuf-du-Pape and managed by the Sabon family, the estate benefits from a unique mix of soils—clay, quartz, and stones—that give their wines extraordinary aging potential. Wine The 2022 Red Lirac has everything to please! This juicy, well-balanced wine opens with charming floral notes, particularly peony, and ripe stone fruits, with a hint of pepper adding a touch of freshness. The palate is rich and generous, carrying through those southern flavors with a delicious hint of syrupy cherries. A perfect choice to pair with grilled or slow-cooked meats. Rated 92/100 by the Selection Committee.
Vinification Hand harvested. Vinification 100% in concrete vats. Aged 57% in vats, 28% in foudre, 12% in barrels and 3% in demi-muids.
