The estate and the wine |
Icon of the Saint-Estèphe appellation, the Château Montrose is one of the most sought-after signatures of the region. The change of course and ambition instilled by Martin Bouygues immediately raised the bar of this already well-established estate, granting it a new state-of-the-art cellar and an elite team led by Hervé Berland, former Mouton-Rothschild director. |

The 2015 Saint-Estephe de Montrose, with its ripe, intense fruit and floral nuances, is a wine that shows the style of its vintage. Backed fruit aromas, it displays a great deal of finesse and elegance along with smooth tannin. It is a model of formal perfection, a great wine of style, both concentrated and fresh, to be savored now and for a few more years, with fine red meat or a country terrine. Classy! Rated 93/100 by our Committee. |
