The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine "Only the best." The founder of Mumm had just one ambition: excellence. This rigor remains intact, embodied for nearly 15 years by the talented cellar master Didier Mariotti. Under his guidance, the House regained its prestige, and its cuvées, aimed at aficionados of airy and energetic champagnes, approach perfection. Today, Laurent Fresnet has succeeded him, ensuring the same continuity and vision of excellence. In 2016, Maison Mumm created a line of very high-end champagnes, exclusively for a rigorously selected few: the RSRV range. These elusive champagnes are reserved only for "friends of the House." A tradition initiated in the 19th century with Mumm de Cramant, accessible only to a few privileged individuals... Today, we offer you the chance to join this ultra-select Club and take advantage of this exceptional offer. Be one of the "Happy Few"!
Wine A wine of elite distinction, the Cuvée Lalou 2006 subtly plays on a spectrum of evolved flavors without any dryness, featuring notes of dried fruits, a toasted accent, oriental spices, and caramel, all accompanied by a superbly penetrating freshness. This timeless style, resulting from a drastic selection of Grand Crus aged for ten years in the cellar, embodies great energy, grace, and depth. A gastronomic champagne, it is a perfect match for white meat or baked fish. Rated 96/100 by critics Bettane+Desseauve.
Vinification Hand-harvested, grapes from the following terroirs: Les Bionnes, Les Crupots, les Briquettes, Les Perthes, Hannepés, Les Rochelles and Les Houles, vinified in stainless steel tanks, aged for 10 years in our cellars.
