The estate and the wine |
A confidential address nestled in the heart of the finest Beaujolais terroirs, Domaine Le Nid produces wines of the highest stature, very close to the highest Burgundian standards. The 7 hectares cultivated by the Lardet family are divided into 12 hand-worked plots, promoting biodiversity and forming part of this marvellous landscape bordered by hills and granite soils. |

The 2021 red Moulin-à-Vent Tradition is a blend of several of the estate's plots, aged in foudres, with lovely notes of fresh red fruit (strawberry, morello cherry) and pepper. The dense, full-bodied palate, still driven by abundant and radiant flavors of fruit and crisp tannins, combines finesse and elegance with a tangy finish. Enjoyable in its youth, this wine can also be comfortably preserved. |
