Crafted from high-altitude vineyards blending both red and white grapes, the 2023 Douro Charme Red stands as one of the region’s most refined wines. Whole clusters are vinified in large vats before being transferred to barrels, where the wine completes fermentation and ages for nine months. The result is a wine of striking purity and delicacy, with floral aromas and hints of fresh herbs. Elegantly perfumed and wrapped in silky tannins, it remains subtle and graceful, fully centered on pure, expressive fruit flavours. A stunningly balanced wine—awarded 97/100 by Parker. |
