The 2017 Red Saint-Estèphe Château Ormes de Pez offers a lovely beginning to evolution with nicely spicy and chocolatey aromas. The structure remains supple and charming, far from the usual stoutness of these river wines, with a touch of cocoa and very fine balance. This is a great Saint-Estèphe of fine definition, ready to be enjoyed or aged for another five years. Rated 93/100 by the Committee. |
