The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine Pietro Caciorgna is one of the great names of Tuscany. Committed to biodiversity, organic farming and a strong respect for the environment, the Caciorgna family has been making great wines for over 60 years and its reputation extends far beyond its borders.

Since 2006, the family has had a foothold in Sicily, on the volcanic terroir of Etna, and has been forging sensational, fruity and fresh wines from vineyards bordering the sea, which draw their uniqueness from their altitude (800 meters) and the mildness of the climate, as well as from the rich soil.
Wine Described as "the wine of everyday life" by Pietro Caciorgna, the 2020 Red Etna Rosso Ciauria is just that. It's a lively and fresh red wine, with luscious aromas of red fruit and spices, fine tannins and a sapid finish. A superb vision of this terroir of Sicily that is often overlooked but always appreciated in the tasting.
Vinification Hand harvested, vinified in stainless steel tanks and aged for 10 months in French oak barrels.

Vineyard managed according to the principles of organic and biodynamic culture, not certified.
