The estate and the wine |

Petrus became, after 1945, the most famous cru of Pomerol. This unique clay soil, not very degraded, is favorable to the birth of an extraordinary Merlot, a wine with a phenomenal personality and power. It often takes twenty years for it to express itself and be appreciated at its true value. Its refined tension, depth and density, its taffeta texture and floral tones have charmed many a taster. President JF Kennedy and the famous Serge Gainsbourg were among its most loyal fans! Petrus exudes elegance, imposes its signature and enters the very select club of the greatest wines in the world to be tasted at least once in a lifetime! |
