The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine Famous for its Clos des Goisses and awarded 3 stars by the RVF Guide - a distinction shared by only 8 houses - Philipponnat is a cult Champagne house where every detail is aimed at perfection. Showcasing the best terroirs of Mareuil and Aÿ in its high-flying parcel cuvées, the brand strives to refine all its cuvées, embodying the vinous champagne, typified by Pinot Noir, from the Marne Valley.

In a state of grace and shining among premium champagnes, named "Brand of the Year 2023" by RVF, the House has experienced an unparalleled rise in the last twenty years, thanks notably to the wise decisions of its President, Charles Philipponnat.
Wine Predominantly made from Pinot Noir, from the 2019 harvest, the Royale Réserve Non Dosé Champagne features fine and regular bubbles and vibrant energy. The nose is very alluring, suggesting flavors of black grapes with a slight woody nuance that adds complexity to the whole. It's pleasantly refreshed by the presence of Chardonnay, in a beautiful purity. The palate follows this nuanced and flavorful path, with fleshiness and fullness and especially great balance and real complexity. The absence of dosage doesn't at all mask the structure or the wine-like quality of this cuvée, which will be ideal as an aperitif, with salmon egg toasts or sea bream ceviche, and of course at the table with fish or white meats in sauce.
Vinification Hand-harvested, blended from the 2018 harvest with 20-30% reserve wines aged in wood, aged on lees in cellars for 3 years.
Disgorgement June 2022.

Zero dosage.
