The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine A rising star in the Rhône with a 1-star rating from RVF, Julien Pilon has captivated the most discerning wine enthusiasts, and his wines are now highly sought after. Trained by some of the greats (Yves Cuilleron, Pierre Gaillard, Pierre-Jean Villa, Mas Amiel), this winemaker employs advanced vinification techniques, deeply attuned to the nuances of his terroirs.

His wines, hailing from the finest appellations of Northern Rhône, delight those who appreciate freshness and purity. His whites are devilishly precise, and his reds are equally impressive! However, the flip side of success and limited quantities is, unfortunately, that sourcing them can be challenging…
Wine The 2021 red Saint-Joseph Rue des Poissonniers, Paris XVIIIe has all the makings of a fine, juicy Syrah that expresses itself in a spicy, fruity register. Its nose of violets, pepper and black fruit, and its sapid, well-balanced palate make for a delicious, highly accessible wine that would go perfectly with onglet de boeuf aux échalotes or osso bucco, rated 92/100 by the Committee.
Vinification Hand harvested. Aged for 12 months in 225 and 500 liter barrels, of which 10% is new wood.
