The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine Pascal Reverdy and his sister-in-law Sophie have long been passionate, exacting voices in Sancerre at Domaine Pascal et Nicolas Reverdy.

With Pascal’s sons, Victorien and Benjamin, now on board, the family is giving the steep slopes of Maimbray a fresh dimension, crafting wines that are racy, precise and mineral, while always letting the juicy, mouthwatering fruit shine through.

Awarded one star in the prestigious French wine guide RVF, this model estate just keeps getting better, delighting us year after year and still offering refreshingly fair prices.
Wine The 2023 Red Sancerre Terre de Maimbray is immediately seductive with a gorgeous nose where perfectly ripe Pinot Noir bursts with brightness and freshness. The fruit, enhanced by subtle aging, shows notes of morello cherry and cherries in syrup, carried by the freshness of the terroir and fine-grained tannins. A true favorite of the Selection Committee, rated 94/100.
Vinification Hand harvested grapes. Grapes sorted by hand. Whole grapes account for 25% of the harvest. Cold pre-fermentation maceration, followed by 4 weeks of vatting. Aged in wooden vats for 10 months, with spontaneous malolactic fermentation in the spring. Unfiltered wine.
