Château Cos d'Estournel has been dedicated to achieving finesse and freshness for several years, marking a new era of success in this pursuit!
The 2023 vintage is a testament to this approach: the floral notes of peony and rosewood, very subtle, open up to a more delicate aromatic universe than expected, with an almost Burgundian accent. The palate follows suit, presenting a streamlined, pure, and gracefully tactile structure, free from any harshness, and concluding with an admirably extended finish. Its 50% new oak supports this refined and elongated profile with exceptional class.
Rated 95/100 by Olivier Poussier and 95-97/100 by RVF, it remains "one of the most infused wines of the appellation!"
A masterful cru to have in your cellar, promising a long and graceful aging. |
