This cru consistently stands out as one of the best deals in the Primeurs! Created by the owners of the Grand Cru Classé Château Calon Ségur, Capbern remains intimately connected to its prestigious elder sibling and adopts all its codes of excellence.
Expertly crafted, the 2023 vintage once again showcases the quintessence of its sublime gravel terroir, with an increased concentration and amplitude. This vintage has undoubtedly produced one of the most powerful Capberns, with a comfortable alcohol level (14.6°) that integrates perfectly into a balanced whole, supported by a high proportion of Cabernet (69%).
Produced by the teams at Calon Ségur, this cru remains a fantastic deal. It displays beautiful finesse and lovely tannins with a silky touch. This is a serious bottle that will evolve very well over time. Always a favorite among critics, it has been rated 92-94/100 by RVF.
