One of Margaux's major success stories!
A discreet Médoc cru, Château Malescot Saint-Exupéry is making a major comeback on the Margaux scene, confirming once again that it clearly deserves its place among the great names of this prestigious appellation!
With the 2023 vintage, the château has succeeded in producing a wine that is dense, concentrated and intensely fruity, yet at the same time very elegant and free of heaviness. Savory, saline, precise, it finishes on the pulp of the fruit. Brilliant!
With the punctual and efficient support of oenologist Michel Rolland, this Margaux takes advantage of its rich terroir to produce wines of remarkable classicism, acclaimed for their suavity and creamy texture. Owner Jean-Luc Zuger makes wines in his own image: solid, straightforward, made from ripe grapes and guaranteed to please the table. On this top-class terroir, the potential for longevity is undeniable.
This 2023 vintage has everyone in agreement, rated 94/100 by Olivier Poussier and 93-95/100 by RVF and Parker. |
