Protected by the Delon family, owners of the famous Château Léoville Las Cases, Château Potensac benefits from the same care as its illustrious big brother, and grows nobler every year thanks to the richness of its ancient vineyards. The vineyard has been reduced from 90 to 65 hectares, allowing for a more precise selection of the plots that go to make up the estate, giving the wine an even softer, more accomplished palate.
The 2023 vintage thus confirms at the highest level this classic and envied style, which is gaining in depth and substance. It is superb in its black fruit, structure and tannic base, with a beautiful freshness at its heart, and a long, penetrating finish.
A cru still imbued with a breed unheard of in this particular sector of the northern Médoc. |
