The estate and the wine |
Bodegas y Vinedos Pujanza is an incredible estate which has known a dazzling success in recent years. In just two decades, it has become one of the most sought-after names in Spain. Located in Laguardia in the Rioja Alavesa, this family estate is the work of one man, Carlos San Pedro, who is madly in love with these marvelous terroirs and eager to translate them into authentic wines that respect the region’s history and traditions.
His vigilance and insatiable quest for perfection have enabled him to craft wines of the highest level, thanks to a cutting-edge viticulture that is very attentive to the primary quality of the grapes. |

The 2017 Red Rioja Hado shines with its perfect aromas of black fruit and delicate spices, highlighted by a slight presence of oak. Blending together in a sapid and quite suave palate, the flavors are not too overbearing and the finish is long and smooth, with refined tannins. Rated 91/100 by Robert Parker. |
