The 2022 Gard Red IGP showcases the Carignan grape at its best, perfectly balanced by Mourvèdre, Grenache, and a touch of Syrah. This sophisticated red, with its silky tannins, has been expertly aged in large wooden casks, combining all the hallmarks of a great wine: depth, finesse, length, and elegance. Hand harvested. Vinification using indigenous yeasts, 100% whole grapes, in open vats for around 15 days, no extraction. Aged 18 months, including 12 months on fine lees 1/3 in demi-muids, 1/3 in muids and 1/3 in foudres. Light filtration.
