The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine With two stars in the Revue du Vin de France guide — and a reputation as a Languedoc icon — Roc d’Anglade is one of the region’s most sought-after estates.
Rémy and Martine Pédréno care for this exceptional limestone terroir, farmed organically and facing north — a site renowned for centuries. The wines are elegant, taut, and lifted, and have become benchmarks and sources of inspiration across the Languedoc.

A true reference point for the past 25 years, and highly speculative, this precious estate is in high demand among serious wine lovers. But with just 11 hectares under vine, quantities are extremely limited.
Wine The 2023 Red IGP Gard once again brings out the best in Carignan, with a lovely light colour and beautifully ripe black fruit. This delicate red, with its mellow tannins, is pure silk — showing ultra-fine texture, savoury depth, and remarkable length. Aged in large oak barrels (foudres and demi-muids), which allow the wine to develop slowly and gain structure without adding heaviness, it’s juicy and vibrant, with a subtle herbal note that lifts the whole profile. A gem that will age gracefully for ten years and more.
And in magnum format, you get both long-term cellaring and serious sharing potential.
Vinification Hand harvested. Vinification using indigenous yeasts, 100% whole grapes, in open vats for around 15 days, no extraction. Aged for 18 months, including 12 months on fine lees, 1/3 in demi-muids, 1/3 in muids and 1/3 in foudres. Light filtration.

Certified organic wine.
