Fine and deep at the same time, this cuvée offers a firm juice with a grain of tannin just waiting to develop a patina. |

The estate and the wine |
|
|
Roche de Bellene is a premier house in Burgundy. Its founder, Nicolas Potel, crafts some of the most sensual wines in the region. Very old vines, organic farming, and discreet aging are all meticulously managed to produce wines of exceptional realism and precision, with sincere and abundant fruit.
The quality achieved today is remarkable, and Olivier Poussier is enthusiastic about each of the wines. This Bourgogne Hautes Côtes de Beaune is no exception: our friendly relationship with Nicolas Potel allows us to offer them to you at a privileged rate. |

The 2022 red Hautes Côtes de Beaune Burgundy presents a delicate profile, lightly oaked, with enticing aromas of Morello cherry and red fruits. The texture blends depth and finesse around a good tannin structure, still firm but which will smoothly mellow over time. A very fine bottle to drink now or to keep for another 5 years. Rated 92/100 by the Committee. |
