Between silk and velvet, this Marsannay offers an incomparable texture; delicate, silky tannins hint at a finely wooded structure that will develop a patina over the years. |

Bernard Bouvier is unquestionably one of the most important names in Burgundy. At Domaine René Bouvier, he produces great auteur wines whose fruit precision and palate textures are infinitely just and benevolent.
Day after day, our tastings confirm the high standards achieved by this family estate, which is now one of the most highly-rated on the Côte de Nuits. |

The intense 2020 red Marsannay Champ Salomon displays luscious notes of black fruit, reminiscent of perfectly ripe Pinot, and above all great purity, underpinned by well-suited woodiness. This harmonious whole, linked to a great vintage like 2020, continues on the palate with a delicate texture, between silk and velvet, not lacking in fleshiness. A wine to be aged for another 5 to 10 years. Rated 93+/100 by the Committee. |
