The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine A confidential address in full revival, the Domaine Régis Jouan is well established on the flint and white earth of Sancerre. Barely 4 hectares of vines, and one hectare on Menetou-Salon, managed in an organic approach, make up straightforward and precise wines, mainly sold for export and produced in small quantities. An address that has gone under the radar that you won't find elsewhere!
Wine The 2021 White Sancerre opens with a particularly pure nose, an essence of chalky Sauvignon, with a dominant of citrus and white flowers. The refined and precise frame extends this delicate register, with a beautiful tension, a fresh, slender palate. An irresistible white wine for the aperitif, also ideal with seafood.
