The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine The elite of Alsace wine-growing, Domaine René Muré wines are devilishly soft and captivating. The estate's careful practice of organic farming kindles this effect. Big and fat but without residual sugar, the wines have an irresistable fleecy character and a unique texture on the palate....almost carnel!
Wine The Gewurztraminer Vorbourg 2003 is a generous late harvest with marked aromas of dried citrus and a texture that is just a hugh mass of fruit. This wine will caress your foies gras, blue cheeses, yellow fruit desserts, and chocolate-based matches, etc...
Vinification Organically farmed grapes, hand-harvested, slow fermentation and aging on fine lees.
