A powerful, gourmet attack precedes a palate whose juicy, concentrated texture is akin to tasting ripe fruit. Soft and enveloping, the palate seduces with its fine effervescence, subtle roasted notes and the freshness of chalky soils. |

Louis Roederer is undoubtedly one of the finest Champagne houses. With an exceptional vineyard heritage managed biodynamically for over 20 years, this Reims-based house continues to lead the way towards excellence.
This is particularly evident in the refinement of its style and complete redesign of its non-vintage Brut, now elegantly renamed "Collection" and numbered according to the year's harvest.
This unique signature, enriched by the nuances of its harvest year, gains additional freshness and complexity from a Perpetual Reserve established in 2012, all while maintaining the quintessential Roederer style through a broad selection of reserve wines aged in French oak casks. |

Collection 244 is a cuvée of exceptional richness, shaped by the maturity of the 2019 vintage, the vivacity of the Perpetual Reserve, and the depth of reserve wines aged in wood. This champagne strikes a perfect balance, offering a delightfully rich power. The reintroduction of Meunier grapes lends a gentle, fruity softness, complementing the more structured and saline Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Exhibiting a fresh and juicy profile, it unfolds with aromas of ripe fruit, vineyard peach, and pear, accompanied by a slightly roasted undertone and a hint of chalkiness. The Collection's warm and enticing style is confidently expressed, boasting a texture that is both potent and delectable, and a juicy, concentrated sensation reminiscent of biting into ripe fruit. Finally, smoky notes emerge, enhancing the exceptionally flavorful finish. A grand champagne to be thoroughly savored! |

The manual harvest took place from September 10 to 21, 2019, with grapes sourced 1/3 from the 'La Rivière' vineyard, 1/3 from the 'La Montagne' vineyard, and 1/3 from the 'La Côte' vineyard, plus grapes from selected 'Cœur de Terroir' parcels from partner growers.
This is the 244th blend, comprising 36% perpetual reserve (2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018), 10% reserve wines aged in wood (2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018), and 54% from the 2019 harvest.
