The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine René Rostaing is an outstanding winemaker, acclaimed by Robert Parker, who excels in the Ampuis appellation's best terroirs. His discretion is matched only by his talent, touching the hearts of wine lovers around the world with the quality of his wines, of absolute classicism.

The confidential production is not enough to satisfy the demand, so the bottles are available only on allocation and always sell out very quickly. Whether it is on the queen appellations of Côte Rôtie and Condrieu or in IGP, its wines touch the heart of all amateurs, who are charmed by their constancy and their unfailing seduction.
Wine Punctuated by fresh, expressive aromas of fruit, the 2019 Red Les Lézardes Collines Rhodaniennes IGP is a pure educational Syrah from the estate's young vines. With red and black fruits, sweet spices, and a slender and juicy body framed by present and dynamic tannins, everything is combined here for instant pleasure and more, as this wine has substance and will keep for a few more years.
Vinification Hand harvested from young vines of the estate, partial de-stemming of the harvest of about 60%, fermentation in stainless steel tanks for 4 to 5 weeks with regular pumping over, maturing for a little less than 11 months in demi-muids of which 5 to 10% are new.
