The estate and the wine |
|
|
Since 2013, a new generation has been in charge of Roux Père & Fils, and the winery has been rapidly advancing up the ladder of success. The 70 hectares of vineyards spread over 50 different climates, from the Côte d'Or to the Mâconnais, form an enviable heritage, now run like clockwork by this new team.
The resulting wines are flawless and perfectly reflect their respective terroirs; highly appreciated, the wines have conquered the world and are still not very present in France. |

Now at a beautiful, fully developed stage of evolution, the 2017 White Rully Les Agnières showcases a beautiful balance and a mineral undertone. The pure and fresh nose, as fragrant as a blooming Chardonnay, remains very subtle, with the slightly luxurious creaminess of its maturation. The palate is very mature, full-bodied, with a chalky freshness that is typical of this high quality sector of the Chalonnais region. The flavors and the delicate bitters underline the palate in a very harmonious way. Rated 93/100 by our Selection Committee. |
