Elevated by a new generation since 2013, Domaine Roux Père & Fils is swiftly ascending the ladder of success. Their impressive 70-hectare vineyard, spread across 50 distinct climates from the Côte d'Or to the Mâconnais, forms an enviable heritage. Today, it's meticulously managed, down to the finest detail, by the fresh team in charge.
The result is an impeccable array of wines that truly echo their respective terroirs. Earning high scores across the board, these wines have captivated global enthusiasts but remain relatively undiscovered in France. |

The 2020 white Beaune Champagne de Savigny comes from a parcel adjacent to the Clos du Roi. It's a wine that exudes floral freshness, exquisitely pure in its aromatics, with a hint of star anise and pronounced chalky and mineral notes. The palate is concentrated, mature, and brimming with flavor, underpinned by a zesty and dynamic structure. Its minerality effectively complements the oak influence. A superbly crafted Beaune village wine, it can be cellared for another 6 to 10 years. Rated 94/100 by the Committee. |
