The tasting |
Intense and brilliant red with violet-garnish reflections. |
| | |
Expressive with beautiful aromas of black fruits, smoky notes brought by the syrah, a gourmet aspect on a partially spicy background. |
| | |
Full and full-bodied, this wine, with sunny accents of garrigues, reveals a rich and complex palate, a juicy tannin, perfectly coated, balances this juice between power and elegance. |

The estate and the wine |
A Vacqueyras prodigy, driven by the dexterity of Serge and Frédéri Férigoule, the Sang des Cailloux estate has a magnificent terroir on a plateau of rolled pebbles. The estate produces biodynamic wines that require time to fully reveal themselves and are very structured and rich, with a high level of maturity. But eventually, what a reward! |
| | |
Full-bodied, ripe and concentrated, the 2021 Red Vacqueyras Azalaïs blends Grenache with Syrah as well as Mourvèdre, Carignan, and Cinsault grapes in a nice complexity. It is a powerful, intense, and nuanced wine of great substance, which will age happily and will find an unstoppable way to match with a beautiful rib of beef or a steak with pepper sauce. |
| | |
Hand harvested, low yield (18hl/ha). Traditional vinification in concrete vats with daily pumping over, 100% destemming of the grapes. Aged for 12 months in tuns.
Certified Organic (Ecocert) and Biodynamic wine. |
