The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine A confidential address located south of Epernay, Champagne Sébastien Girost is a real gem for champagne lovers. Always extremely well rated during our selection committees - sometimes even arriving 1st of its category - it always outclasses its peers thanks to its fullness of constitution and finesse.

Old vines, some of them almost a hundred years old, vinification and aging in oak barrels, long aging in the cellar, minimal dosage: all the standards of excellence are united here to make a great champagne. At this price level, it is simply unique!
Wine Radiant with delicacy, the Brut Réserve Champagne combines delicate bubbles and aromas. Made from a majority of pinots (meunier and black), in the 2017 base vintage, it offers very beautiful notes of red fruits, a touch of redcurrant and raspberry and above all a very beautiful richness thanks to the age of the vines and a perfect mastery of the vinification in wood, which complexifies the aromatic palette and the texture of the palate and gives it this creamy and suave aspect. A very nice champagne, ideal as an aperitif but also paired with a dish such as fish in a sauce meunière or baked. A Selection Committee Favorite rated 93/100.
Vinification Hand harvested, base harvest 2017 with 33% of reserve wine, vinification in oak barrels, aging 6 months on lees, without malolactic fermentation.
Dosage : 6 gr/l
