The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine When Eduardo Chadwick and Robert Mondavi — two giants of world wine — decided to join forces, the result was never going to be ordinary. In 1995 they created Viña Seña, today considered one of Chile’s most spectacular wines.

The project began in the Aconcagua Valley, beneath the towering 6,962-meter peak that dominates the Andes at the Chile–Argentina border.

Farmed biodynamically, with careful parcel selection and luxurious aging, this wine tells the story of its terroir with real force. Aromas of ripe dark fruit, spice and floral notes combine in a wine of depth and energy that has won over critics everywhere. Hailed by the French wine guide RVF and adored by Parker, Seña stands shoulder to shoulder with the world’s greatest wines and has even been ranked among the 50 best globally.

Now comes the release of the 2023 vintage, rated 96 by Parker, cementing this incredible success story.
Wine From a generous vintage, the 2023 Red Aconcagua Valley Seña once again ranks among the most impressive wines of the year and of this South American terroir. Led by Cabernet Sauvignon (60 percent) and Malbec, with a touch more Carménère than usual (15 percent), and aged for 18 months mostly in barrels with some in large oak casks, it shows remarkable balance. The nose opens with spice, joined by hints of mint, vanilla, graphite and red fruit aromas. The palate is strikingly fresh, with polished tannins, a style that is both generous and refined. A delicate saline note on the finish keeps the wine lively and precise. A wine that will leave no one indifferent, rated 96/100 by Parker.
Vinification Hand harvested grapes. Aged mainly in new French oak barrels.

Organic and biodynamic wine.
