Concentrated and intense, the 2020 Red Saumur-Champigny La Paterne expresses itself through beautiful aromas of ripe fruits, with the distinct graphite note of the Cabernet grape. Powerful and racy, this wine has a nice volume, firm tannins that frame a lively and generous palate. It’s a wine that requires a little patience, to be enjoyed quietly over 5 to 7 years after decanting. To pair with a shoulder of lamb ideally! Rated 93/100 by our Selection Committee. |
