Their wines are generous and passionate, reflecting an enthusiasm for Burgundy's delicate craftsmanship. The Sottimanos enhance the local varietals' nobility, expressing the natural elegance of this cutting-edge terroir. Parcel vinification, organic farming, and flawless aging are all hallmarks of the estate's success.

Today, it stands as one of the finest estates in Barbaresco, with wines that powerfully echo the legendary finesse of the great Burgundies.
Wine Nestled in a magnificent landscape of orchards and vineyards, the 2020 Red Barbaresco Basarin is a magnificent wine made from 60-year-old vines. Its two-hectare sandy terroir produces a generous, highly seductive Barbaresco, imbued with beautiful notes of black fruit, particularly juicy cherry, in a full, concentrated but not excessive body, with smooth tannins. In this sunny vintage, the estate has managed to retain freshness and the innate delicacy so dear to the appellation. Decant for an hour or two. Ten to fifteen years of ageing guaranteed. Rated 93/100 by Parker.
Vinification Hand-harvested, indigenous yeasts. Fermentation and maceration on skins. Malolactic fermentation in barrels. Aged 18 to 22 months in French oak barrels.
Unfined, unfiltered wine.
