The distillery
The distillery With a long tradition as a wine merchant and a specialist in whisky ageing, Midleton is one of the most modern distilleries in the world, renowned for its fruity Irish whiskies with a spicy and cereal undertone.

Spot Whisky takes its name from the marking of the barrels that the Mitchell family, who founded the House at the end of the 19th century, used to do: each age of whisky had a colored spot painted on the barrel. Green Spot, the most popular whiskey aged between 7 and 10 years, has become a household name.
Spirits Made from whiskies aged between 7 and 10 years in Bourbon and Sherry casks, the Green Spot Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey is extremely fresh and fruity. On the nose, notes of barley and orchard fruits mingle with a toasted background resulting from the maturation in casks. On the palate, spices dominate, combined with flavors of clove and green apple. The finish stretches on flavors of cereals and spices and completes this rich and nuanced palette.
Elaboration Unpeated. Combination of malted and unmalted barley, triple distilled, no-age Irish Whiskey (no age indication), aged between 7 and 10 years in oak casks.
