The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine A historic name in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Domaine de la Solitude is experiencing an exciting revival under the leadership of Florent Lançon, who has elevated its wines into the elite ranks of the appellation.

With 37 hectares planted on stunning terroirs—including prized parcels on La Crau—and guided by thoughtful, precise viticulture, the estate crafts wines of unmistakable style and aromatic distinction. These are noble cuvées that age beautifully, unfolding a remarkable richness of aromas.

Renowned for the exceptional consistency across its range, the domaine has earned a perfect 5-star rating from the Guide Bettane+Desseauve. With each recent vintage raising the bar even higher, Florent Lançon has firmly positioned Domaine de la Solitude among the most coveted estates in Châteauneuf-du-Pape.
Wine Crafted from a blend of the coolest terroirs and grape varieties, partly fermented and aged on fine lees in barrels, the 2024 Châteauneuf-du-Pape White offers a deliciously floral expression with a subtle touch of oak that perfectly integrates into the whole. The palate is silky and saline, marked by a crystalline purity and lifted by delicate mineral bitterness, resulting in a dynamic and highly precise wine. A superb white from Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Rated 94/100 by the Selection Committee.
Vinification Hand harvested in 25kg crates. Pressing of the berries after a short skin maceration. Aged in new barrels, one-wine barrels and casks for 10 months.
