The estate and the wine |
Nestled in the renowned limestone terrain of Serralunga, in the heart of Barolo, Schiavenza is a 10-hectare family estate brimming with delightful vitality. Its owners treasure it like a diamond, cultivating the Nebbiolo grape in a style that's both traditional and confident. |

Perched on the limestone soils of Serralunga at an altitude of 360 meters, the 2018 red Barolo Cerretta achieves a remarkable feat. It beautifully merges power and refinement in a grand Nebbiolo. Notes of morello cherry, flowers, particularly rose, along with a subtle toasty character from aging, come together in an elegant and dense structure. This is a complex wine, powerful yet not overpowering, offering great persistence with bold and intense flavors. Rated 94/100 by Parker. |
