The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine An incredible association created by Michel Tardieu and Dominique Laurent in the early 1990s, Tardieu-Laurent has become one of the best micro-negociants in the Rhone Valley, a sought-after and envied address awarded 2 stars in the French RVF Green Guide.

Imposing their uncompromising and ultra qualitative vision, Bastien and Michel Tardieu continue their path to excellence today, crisscrossing the vineyards from top to bottom to track down the best terroirs and select the best grapes, generally from very old vines and often located in the historic heart of each appellation.

Their art of maturing has made their reputation and reveals generous and finely defined wines, thanks to large capacity barrels, the use of whole harvest and above all a carefully thought maturing.
Wine A summit of the Northern Rhône Valley, the 2018 White Hermitage is a rare wine, produced in very few quantities. We appreciate its intensity of aromas and its consistency, which makes it a wine of high gastronomy, dedicated to long aging. The ripe nose, marked by notes of flowers, noble and toasted wood, spicy touches of vanilla and honey precedes a rich and generous palate that offers great concentration and above all a lot of delicacy and grace. This is a great bottle to serve paired with foie gras, poultry or baked sea bass. Its texture and power will carry it far and it will require some more maturation in the cellar to be at its best. Rated 95/100 by our Selection Committee.
Vinification Hand harvested, aged for 12 months in barrels and 12 months in Stockinger tuns.
