The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine An incredible association created by Michel Tardieu and Dominique Laurent in the early 1990s, Tardieu-Laurent has become one of the best micro-negociants in the Rhone Valley, a sought-after and envied address awarded 2 stars in the French RVF Green Guide.

Imposing their uncompromising and ultra qualitative vision, Bastien and Michel Tardieu continue their path to excellence today, crisscrossing the vineyards from top to bottom to track down the best terroirs and select the best grapes, generally from very old vines and often located in the historic heart of each appellation.

Their art of maturing has made their reputation and reveals generous and finely defined wines, thanks to large capacity barrels, the use of whole harvest and above all a carefully thought maturing.
Wine Carried by a very beautiful maturity of the grapes, the 2020 red Côte Rôtie displays tasty notes of liquorice, spices, chocolate and black fruits, with a touch of graphite. The dense and concentrated palate takes up this complex register. We are really in the presence of a very beautiful wine with a real volume in the palate, and tannins that carry the finish beautifully. A great bottle with a potential of 20 years and more. A Selection Committee Favorite rated 95/100.
Vinification Hand harvested, 1/3 whole bunch vinification, aged 12 months in new barrels and 10 months in tuns.
