The estate and the wine |

The Domaine du Terme is a confidential Cru of Gigondas, an endearing address that has been in the hands of the Gaudin family for five generations. Located at the "terminus" of the former Principality of Orange, to which Gigondas belonged, the vineyard stretches out on the plateau at an altitude of 200 meters. 11 hectares of a single piece of land that delivers tender and balanced wines, soberly matured in vats and in tuns. |

|
The 2020 red Gigondas is a model of a mature, sensitive, and coherent Rhone Valley wine. With its black fruit and spice notes and well-profiled body, this wine should be enjoyed within a year or two with simmered or grilled meat. A great deal at this price level! |

Hand harvested from vines averaging 45 years old. 80% de-stemming, traditional vinification. Aged in vats for one year and then in oak barrels for 6 to 8 months. |
