Châteauneuf-du-Pape produces very few whites, accounting for just about 6% of the appellation. Even rarer and especially intricate, the 2022 white Pure Roussane cuvée ranks among our favorites. Its aromas of stone fruits and citrus, accentuated by a hint of orange blossom and a subtle woody nuance, captivate us upon opening. Rich and graceful, its texture harmonizes freshness and subtlety, recalling elegant flavors of white fruits and gentle spices, highlighting a perfectly executed style. A bottle that promises pleasure for a decade and even beyond. This is a white wine of significant stature, perfect with lemongrass shrimp or more traditionally, roasted poultry or fish. |
